J.C. Morris
He was born January 20, 1939 in Breathitt Co., KY. to the late Press and Lula (Campbell) Morris.
On August 22, 1967 he married Joann R. (Middleton).
J.C. was a resident of Marion, Ohio for thirty-six years, previously living in Polk City, FL. He formerly was employed at the Good Cheese Factory in Upper Sandusky, Ohio and retired from Marion Township on the road crew after six years.
He is survived by his wife, Joann R. Morris of Marion, OH., a son, Dale R. Morris of Pittsburgh, PA., four daughters, Buffy J. ( Barney Rowlinson) Andrews of Marion, OH., Laura J. Morris of Marion, OH., Ginger L. (Anthony) Preston of Pittsburgh, PA., Kelly A. (L.A.) Kelly of Pataskala, OH., thirteen grandchildren, Ashley N. Andrews, Trey A. Crampton, Kaila R. Preston, Darien J. Preston, Lil L.A. Kelly, Blake R. Morris, Alanna L. Morris, A.J. Preston, C.J. Kelly, Brooklyn M. Gheen, James C. Preston, Daeland C. Kelly, Maggie M. Abbott, two great grandchildren, Bailey Abbott and Cadence Abbott, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
J.C. was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Morris, a sister, Della Blevins, and a grandson, Jonathen S. Castle.
Funeral services for J.C. will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 (10 AM) at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, burail will follow at Marion Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 4 - 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
